Hey everyone. Let’s make 2018 the year for supporting small-time artists.
In 2018, I want you all to reblog more art, leave more comments in the captions or tags, and send your favorite artists some support– especially the ones who don’t get very much support in the first place.
Don’t get me wrong, the popular artists need your business too! But let’s try helping out the rest of us for a little bit. Who knows? You might find a lot of new artists that you love.
And this totally applies to writers and other kinds of content creators too!
Reblogs do SO MUCH MORE for us than just likes. Tumblr isn’t like Twitter, your likes won’t show up on other people’s dashboards, so liking something on Tumblr really doesn’t help us grow our audiences at all!
Even if you can’t commission anyone for money reasons or otherwise, a few reblogs/shares mean the world to us. And hey, one of your friends or followers might see our work and want to commission us! All because you pressed a little button. 😀
