Never noticed really, but all the unversed creatures have their own designs for their eyes.
I think I read somewhere each one was brought about by a different emotion too.

next time you’re playing bbs, pay attention to the way the unversed move, and particularly their body language. i think the most obvious and easy to find example is the scrappers (green dudes with long claws in the remaster) – you’ll notice that they cower and hug themselves and look around anxiously.
what really intrigues me though is that there’s unversed that appear to be expressing emotions that aren’t negative – spiderchests have expressions that look happy to my eye and jump about in a way that looks excited, the ingredient pots appear to giggle when they land a hit on the player, and bruisers (especially wild bruisers) look downright joyful and friendly.
(there’s also ones that seem to represent other emotions that are sort of surprising coming from vanitas – like the hareraisers, who look shy and self-conscious.)
i could definitely be reading too far into it, but i personally think there’s a chance vanitas might actually experience a full range of emotions, and is expelling all of them, constantly.
