Iconic KH hand-holding (and not-quite-hand-holding-but-still-just-as-iconic) moments that I can remember off the top of my head:

• Riku offering his hand to Sora and Sora reaching for it
• Sora, Donald and Goofy’s first meeting where they put their hands together and do the musketeer chant
• Sora and Kairi at the end of KH1. ye boi you know what I’m talking about 👌
• Sora finally getting to meet Namine and holding her hand with both of his for a really long time
• Sora and Namine’s pinky promise
• Riku and Mickey when they reunite in Castle Oblivion
• Sora, Kairi and Riku in the KH2 opening
• Tron and Sora shaking hands before Tron just pulls him into a hug
• Timeless River!Mickey shaking Sora’s hand several times
• Namine reaching out to Roxas and pulling him out of the darkness
• Kairi and Namine holding hands as they run
• Kairi making Sora hold Riku-Ansem’s hand and sandwiching their hands with her own
• Sora grabbing Riku’s hand and falling to his knees when they reunite
• Sora helping Riku off his feet as the door to light appears aka “We’ll go together.”
• Sora and Kairi at the end of KH2. YEP 👌👌
• Roxas helping Xion off the ground in Twilight Town
• Xion summoning her Keyblade again and she and Roxas holding hands in excitement right after
• Roxas catching Xion by the hand when she falls off the clock tower
• Roxas grabbing Xion’s hand when she tries to leave, before she summons her Keyblade and points it at him
• Xion touching Roxas’s hand on her shoulder (and HIS GRIP ON HER SHOULDER TIGHTENING WHEN SHE DOES)
• Roxas catching Xion’s hand as it falls ajsjjdnfnfkdlgjf
• Aqua grabbing Ven’s hand just in time during the X-blade explosion
• Mickey connecting Aqua and Ven’s hands and his own to Aqua’s in the Lanes Between
• Aqua wrapping Terra’s hand around her Keyblade and saying “I’m with you.”
• Sora trying to grab Rinzler’s hand but isn’t able to before he falls aka “He reached for my hand.” aka gROSS SOBBING
• Roxas holding Sora’s hands in The World That Never Was aka AHHHH
• Player (khx) holding hands with Ephemera and Skuld after meeting them for the first time, just before they have to part ways
• Ephemera offering his hand to Player at the end of khx aka “We’ll go together” redux aka MORE GROSS SOBBING
• Gula and Ava. just. them.
• Aqua trying to hold Terra’s hand, but it disappears before her eyes
• Mickey getting Aqua’s Wayfinder and putting it back in her hand
