I just listened to Oath/Chikai using a video that had English lyrics, and I know that people are saying it’s all about the Sora pairings, because Sora’s the main character, right?

But… all I could see when I listened to it was Lea and Isa dancing around their feelings and then sharing an oath and- yeaahhhh.

I mean, some of the lyrics feel like it fits them better, for me? 

I can’t go back to my old liar self, with regards to how they always used to lie to themselves about how they did or didn’t feel, one way or another. The way they’ve hurt each other.

Are you really okay with someone like me? I mean… Isa’s on the other team right now. And Lea, he’s still adjusting to being one of the good guys, not a Nobody Assassin. Literally, commanding the Assassin Dusks.

What I’m saying right now isn’t some second-hand opinion, it’s not even a promise it’s an oath makes me think it works perfectly with how Nobodies believe their thoughts and feelings are just second-hand from memories of when they had hearts, and the promise Axel made, but this being stronger than that.

Let our rings be the colour of every morning Hey, d’you know why the sun sets red??? no but the sunrises and sunsets are always orange-red and the blue of the sky. y’know. Isa and Lea’s colours.

Sometimes there’s no deep meaning to the tears I can’t hold back, I just suddenly remember the old days (ah, I want to cry) like? Isa and Lea remembering back when they were actually friends without all the Nobody baggage? Before they’d hurt each other? And the nostalgia?

It hasn’t been a choice for quite some time ok I wasn’t sure if this could be either one of them or what about but the two things that came to mind were 1) Isa not being able to help what side he’s on and 2) Lea’s feeling like ‘choice- uh, no, there is no choice about it, I’m getting him back no matter what’.

Like… I know it’s not about this. I know. But in my heart, it fits them so well.
