Ya know it’s funny when you think about it, for all of Riku’s talk of losing himself to the darkness, he has never actually lost his heart; unlike his two best friends, he doesn’t have a nobody. No matter how deep into the darkness he sank, even when he was possessed by Xehanort’s heartless, or trapped in the realm of darkness, there was always a part of him that clung desperately to the light, refused to give it up. His heart is truly so much stronger than he realizes.
