If you could have three wishes for KH3 what would they be?

– Show me more Terra

– Give all my babies happiness

– Terraqua, my ship! Make it happen!

  • Terra survives the game
  • Aqua survives the game
  • Terraqua becomes canon
  • Demyx gets redeemed
  • Isa gets redeemed

About that scene with Lea and Isa – anybody feel like speculating?

livingmirage:

There are a lot of factors at play here, which could drive this in any number of directions.  Here’s what I’ve come up with:

1. Is he not norted?

Cons: There’s discussion of if he could be breaking free, hence hiding his face.

This one is highly unlikely, in my opinion, even if it’s really interesting to think about.  Particularly with the scene at the end of Re:coded.  Also, there is no way they’re giving that much good tension between him and Lea, even if there would still be a great deal.  I just can’t see them turning down the idea of a climactic fight.

Pros: He has been very, very much absent from trailers or news, and even now they’re not showing his face or ears.  Perhaps some of the surprise on Lea’s face could even be attributed to this, if it were true.  Hair is surprisingly blue, too?

1.a. Is he in control here?

Cons: It seems to me like Xehanort wouldn’t give any of his vessels much free reign, barring the ones he knows to be loyal (or at least thinks to be, in Braig’s case), let alone one who he knows was planning a rebellion.  He was also not really looking to have much control the last time we saw him, to put things lightly.  This next part is only my opinion: there’s too much confidence in his stride.  He doesn’t even pause to go around the corner.  That is not really the back and forth that Saix and Axel parted ways with – stopping and starting and sniping.

Pros: He is going to the clocktower.  Why in the world would Xehanort go there?  He wants the ‘war’ to take place in a specific place, too, so why go somewhere highly likely (especially with this particular vessel) to attract trouble?

2. When does this take place?

If this takes place during an epilogue-type scenario, then it makes sense why they would be hiding so much.  His face, eyes, ears – he’s free, at this point.  It would not, however, explain the confidence in his walk, and Lea’s surprise might be a bit weird, too.

During the bulk of the game – I have no idea.

3. What is he here for?

FightingCons:  No weapons in sight.  Not an ideal place for a fight, let alone when you have a plan in mind for a ‘war’ in a specific place.  Pros: Might explain the confidence and Lea’s surprise – Xehanort just got the drop on him.

Talking: Cons: Xehanort doesn’t seem to concerned with the relationships of his vessels, so that’s pretty much ruled out if he’s not in control.  And if he’s still norted, why would Isa go find Lea when he could be made, at any point, to attack him?  If he’s not norted, then why is his walk so confident???  Pros: No weapons in sight.  Not the best place for a fight.  Walking slowly and obviously enough to not be an immediate threat?
