A simple chibi commission in papery style of merman Demyx for @goodmorningawfulbye! This style is always fun to work with, albeit time-consuming. It weighs out equally, though.

look, Demyx Time was integral to a lot (including me realizing my sexuality, which is such a long and personal story, so/but trust me on this), but maaaaaaaaaaaan, it’s warped fanon perceptions of Demyx.

I know there was that whole post about it that I responded to, but it goes past that. like, everyone goes “DT is A Relic of Old Fandom and we don’t do that here,” but with a mix of “well he’s not Like That in canon” going in either direction (either he’s darker than interpretations make him out to be, or further on the lighter side), it’s now super confusing to tell what to extrapolate from canon
