The same thing happened to Ansem The Wise, if you recall. The longer he spent in the Realm of Darkness, the more he felt himself falling to the darkness
Demyx will show up in Radiant Garden and gets knocked out immediatly because they think he has been norted.
He hasn’t.
They didn’t want him and he’s been wandering about trying to find somebody who can tell him what the fuck is going on.
Also going off the post I had a looooong response to about why people say Demyx is a cinnamon roll, because I’m still thinking about it
like… people don’t, for the most part. I personally (on my main) have used the tag “he’s awful and I love him”/ “you’re terrible and I love you” for him a couple times.
you can definitely love someone and recognize their flaws, you know?
and some of it is also just that he’s in each game he’s been in for like 5 minutes; Axel fans get a LOT of Axel/Lea content, and there’s just… so little for Demyx (and fanworks help, but it feels like there’s even less content available to you if you’re not really into the ships he’s involved in)
so like “precious” is perhaps used entirely differently than it would be in “aww how precious” XD
